Doors (Interior & Exterior)
John will install, repair, replicate, and restore of all types of doors. This includes: interior, exterior, passage, portals, pocket, sliding barn, offset hinged, hidden hinged, pantry, and kitchen to dining room swinging pivot-hinged types. Most locks will be available with all finishes upon request. John can possibly restore existing locks.
Custom Made Millwork
John can make custom millwork for your home, office, or apartment. Some of these custom millwork examples include: bookcases, cabinets, closets, and buffets. John has designed and created built-in furniture along the line of banquettes, etc., for his clients. In the kitchen or bathroom custom cabinetry includes: kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, storage, custom made medicine cabinets. Int he bedroom or den the custom millwork includes: bureaus with file drawers and regular home use drawers. If you need something different, please ask.
Wood Work Interiors
John can repair baseboards, trim on all doors, trim on window casements, plinths, restored and finished. All parts are replicated to match existing wood or they changed upon request.
Windows
John is highly skilled in the restoration of older style windows. This includes: double-hung wooden sash, wooden framed, and more. John can restore sashes or replace parts (if necessary), stiles, rails, stop beads, parting beads, and coils. Other connection to sash and weights all considered. All frame components including weights and chains, or cord with pulleys, can be restored, replaced, or new casement moldings may be made for your home.
Site Supervisor
After 20+ years in the industry, John gladly offers his services as a client representative, site supervisor for complete home renovations, and will provide some of the custom items for your home. These custom items include: specific restoration and/or replica replacement work. John can supervise your project, while working alongside other managers and general contractors (GC’s).
Custom Sketches
John will work with his customers to assist in design for projects he is employed to complete. With John’s extensive experience, this is service for hire, however some simple sketches, if necessary are okay.
